Each job is different and we need to treat them as such. Below is what is involved if you are after a Obligation Free Quote in a few of the most common situations we are asked after to give you an idea of the process and what’s included.
The entire process from free quote to installation is quite detailed and there can be waits on appointments or materials so if you have a time frame in mind we ask that you contact us as soon as possible. The process does take time and cannot be done any faster so better to be ahead at this stage of quoting.
Replacing or New Cabinetry in and existing space:

We encourage with most jobs that you come and do a showroom tour so the combination of this and the onsite measure means we can quote on exactly what materials and look you are after from the beginning. This tour will go through all the materials and some hardware solutions and gives you the opportunity to have a look, feel and play as well as ask some important questions. We also find that if this happens when our consultant comes out to do the initial measure onsite you will have thought of more questions and ideas on what you are wanting as you will have more knowledge to decide on what you want and why. All of our clients have found this very helpful and a lot have mentioned they didn’t realise there was so much to consider and they thought perhaps they didn’t need a tour but we very glad they did. The showroom tour can last between 1-3 hours depending on what jobs you are having done and the questions you might have.
The next appointment with your Free Obligation Quote will be your onsite initial measure, it is advised that anyone making decisions regarding the design and materials be onsite for this meeting as our consultant will go through the space and your onsite and both the client and our consultant usually have a lot of questions at this stage. The person who will be making the decisions will need to answer our questions so we can actually quote. This booking usually takes between 1-2 hours depending on how many jobs you are having done, but can take longer. When we book this initial measure we will provided a 2 hour period that we will arrive in.
We will then email you 3D plans and quote as soon as we can depending on our work load. We would then recommend that you either book to come in again to make changes and get samples if you have not already or if you think you can explain in detail your changes this can be done via email or phone. We then re-quote until there are no more changes to design or materials
This process does change if you are making major changes to the walls or building however, if this is the case please call and we will go through your situation with you and book what is needed.
New Build:
With a new build that you have the digital plans for, we ask that you email us with those plans along with your full name, site address, best contact number and the best email address to contact you. If you do not have digital plans we will need a copy of the plans that you have. We will also ask you for a list of what you are wanting quoted on eg. Kitchen, pantry, laundry, WIR, robes, vanity etc. Our staff will look over those plans and give you a call with any questions and to book you to come into the showroom in Pambula and meet with one of our consultants. During this showroom appointment we will go through the materials and design with you that you are after, as well as showing you examples and details of the Pro’s and Con’s of those materials and items. This booking usually takes between 2-4 hours and means we can then quote very accurately. We will then email you the full measured plans, 3d plans and quote as soon as we can depending on our work load. We would then recommend that you either book to come in again to make changes and get samples if you have not already gotten samples or if you think you can explain in detail your changes this can be done via email or phone. We then re-quote until there are no more changes to design or materials.
Please be aware that Sapphire Coast Kitchens do not do reface’s or modifications we work with new cabinetry only. We can replace a bench top in laminate or wood but if you are wanting to do a stone bench top only and there is no joinery please contact a stone mason directly.
